Yr 10 and 11, its snowing...

Well the white stuff has come early this year! There is a strong possibilty we are going to miss lessons due to College closure or staff being unable to fight their way through the snow. If you are worried about getting ready for the exams use our email contact to arrange for some online help in our tutor room. Alternatively, use the revision guidance and the links to the past papers for some productive exam preparation.

Coursework

Remember: it is worth between 33 and 50% of your final mark.

Best ever exam results!

The summer of 2010 has seen the culmination of a tremendous effort by students and their teachers. Over the last four years the % of students achieving two A*-C grades in Science has risen from 32% to a richly deserved 89%! Congratulations to all involved!

Tutor Room

If you feel that you need some help over the half-term break you can email us and arrange a time when for us to open our Tutor Room. This will be subject to staff internet access and other commitments. The date and time when the Room will be open will be posted, and the link will become live at that time. Staff will wait 15 mins for you to log in before the room is closed.

Important Exam Info

Your exams will definetly go ahead even if the College is closed to other students.

You should turn up on time and go to the Hall: check the timetable if you've lost yours.

If you miss one of these exams you will have to re-sit it in June when it will be a lot harder because it will have been a long time since you were taught the unit and you will be busy with other subjects. If year 11 students miss the Physics exams this month you will only have ONE shot at passing them in June, i.e. no cha...
