The updated exam timetables for the January/February and May/June examination sessions are now available, as are the exam entries for the January/February. Note: any late changes may not appear on the list, but please talk to your teacher if you notice any possible mistakes.

On March 7th Dr John Kilcoyne from Sunderland University and Sky 1's Brainiac gave Yr 8 from DCBC and all the Yr7s across the Federation an exciting (and loud!) presentation about why science if fun! Photographs to be posted soon.

At the moment the biggest challenge you'll have will be spotting a clear patch of sky amongst the snow clouds, or avoiding hypothermia when you do manage to see some stars! The next Astronomy Challenge is posted on the web site.

Yr 10 and 11, its snowing...

Well the white stuff has come early this year! There is a strong possibilty we are going to miss lessons due to College closure or staff being unable to fight their way through the snow. If you are worried about getting ready for the exams use our email contact to arrange for some online help in our tutor room. Alternatively, use the revision guidance and the links to the past papers for some productive exam preparation.

Coursework

All Year 11 coursework must be completed as soon as possible. Your teacher will give you a specific deadline.

Remember: it is worth between 33 and 50% of your final mark.
