The Astronomy Club This page is the place to find the challenges that are set for our budding astronomers and astronauts. Some are based around the GCSE Astronomy which is an optional extra for our students. |

Club Challenges
Go to the website above. It contains all the scientific information you need to pass the GCSE Astronomy. It is also a great place just to find out more about all things to do with space. Choose one of the four topics, and then one of the units within the topic and work your way through the page. If there are questions, answer them. If not make a PowerPoint to explain what you've learnt. If you want to work towards the GCSE, save your work in our folder on "Resources" (make sure you save a copy in your "My Documents" first as backup!)
The Space Shuttles only have two missions left. You can follow their adventures by going to the NASA web site. Put together a PowerPoint show telling everyone about the missions. Find out about the International Space Station. Who's on board now? Where do they come from and what's their background? Find out when we can see the International Space Station in the night sky by going to this web site. Who can get the highest score on the Science Fact or Fiction Quiz? Can you build a Space Shuttle glider?
